An automotive Artificial Brain

The GLAS.AI (R) core emulates the basic functions of the human brain by copying its basic component architecture. The system is split into several types of cortical lobes each one of them having a specific function such as Reasoning, Memory, Conversational, Data Sensory, Computational and Visual. Most of the lobes employ Deep Neural Networks for data analysis, processing and further learning.

Completely data-driven, the brain thinks in a very similar way to which the human brain does. This is achieved by making use of abstract human natural language-like concept trees modelled as thoughts.

Thoughts are merely substructures of the brain’s internally created knowledge graph. The graph itself is a collection of conceptual elements which is the result of mapping the surrounding world, that which has been learned about from the interaction with the human users and the surrounding data landscape.

Modelled after the human brain, the platform provides automotive-targeted intelligence and the possibility of a deep smartphone integration with the vehicle, turning your mobile device into the car‘s brain which then travels with the user, no matter which car he/she drives.

The user profile (Identity) sits on the smartphone and is used by the vehicle for adjusting to the driver‘s own preferences and needs.

The GLAS.AI (R) platform core is written mainly in C++ / Qt and Python and uses Deep Neural Networks for user Behaviour Analysis, Speech Recognition, Language Understanding and Vehicle Sensor Analysis.

For application development and integration the platform is available through any of the Android (Java/Kotlin) / iOS (Swift) / Embedded (C++/Qt) SDKs.
